Chris drives EXPHYS’ strategic leadership, overseeing governance, technology and innovation, culture, customer, and talent management.
As one of the founding directors, Chris has been instrumental in shaping EXPHYS into a leading national health company, with expertise in occupational health, pain, fatigue, mental health, and oncology exercise. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Chris' contributions to the exercise physiology profession have been widely recognised. He has served as a subject matter expert on various projects and governmental reviews in Australia. Chris is an inaugural member of Exercise and Sports Science Australia’s pain special interest group. His insights and leadership have helped shape policies and initiatives that have positively impacted Australia’s healthcare landscape.
He holds 20 years of clinical exercise physiology experience, following first class honours (research) from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand, and Professional Certificate of Pain Sciences (current) at the University of South Australia, Adelaide. He is academically published and presented.
Chris coaches high performance and leadership for professional rugby union players. He is the father of three daughters.
