Pain Revolution | Go The Distance – Knowledge is power

Research shows that the more someone understands why they are in pain, the better their health outcome.

However, this knowledge is rarely provided to people experiencing persistent pain.

Through #GoTheDistance2021, the EXPHYS® Team are raising funds so that those in pain are educated about the latest in pain science, and what they can do to retrain their overly protective pain system  https://painrevolution.raisely.com/t/exphys

Knowledge is power. There is hope for people in persistent pain.

Special acknowledgement goes to the EXPHYS team, Deakin University and AIA Australia. “An exercise physiologist-led pain science coaching intervention in 1,275 clients resulted in clinically meaningful improvements in pain intensity and functional capacity, as well as significant improvements in work mindset, status and hours. Clients reported high satisfaction rates.” This research will be published in the Journal of Clinical Exercise Physiology (JCEP). #RTP24 #EXPHYS #PainScience #BETTERPAIN
