Fatigue Science Informing Long Covid Recovery: A Case Study

We are proud to share our first research piece accepted for the Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA), Research to Practice 2024 Conference - Fatigue Science Informing Long Covid Recovery: A Case Study.

This research outlines how EXPHYS’ BETTER ENERGY Program, delivered by Adriana Giles, Clinical & Rehabilitation Lead and Senior Exercise Physiologist, helped an individual recover from persistent fatigue following covid infection.

Adriana will present this impressive case study, where innovative technology combined with expert fatigue science coaching, achieved positive health, life and work results.

“Real time biometric data enables individualised fatigue coaching including behaviour change, wellness and planning/pacing strategies. This approach improved fatigue and restored function to perform daily activities and RTW.”

This research will also be published in the Journal of Clinical Exercise Physiology (JCEP).
