BETTER PAIN Research Presented at Research to Practice 2024

Dr Vicky Phillips, General Manager, presented as a finalist for the Practitioner Award, at the recent Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Research to Practice 2024 Conference.

This study provided retrospective analysis of a pain science program delivered by the wider EXPHYS team, to 1,275 people living with persistent pain. A wonderful collaboration between EXPHYS, Deakin University and AIA Australia.

Exercise physiologist-led pain science coaching resulted in clinically meaningful pain reduction and functional improvements, return to work outcomes, and positive customer experience.

This presentation is published in the Journal of Clinical Exercise Physiology (JCEP).
