EXPHYS was proud to present accepted research at the Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Activate Conference 2026 , held at the Adelaide Convention Centre . Our submission, Telehealth Exercise Physiology Restores Function and Work Capacity for a Regionally Based Nurse: A Cost Effective Insurance Solution , demonstrates that telehealth outcomes are comparable to face to face delivery, offering a practical, lower cost model that improves access for remote Australians and delivers sustainable, high value outcomes for personal injury and illness insurers. Congratulations to Ms Adriana Giles , Dr Vicky Phillips , Ms Charlotte Cummins and Mr Chris Sinclair for their contribution to this work. The research was presented on behalf of EXPHYS by Mr Keegan Jones . The abstract associated with this poster will be published in the upcoming Journal of Clinical Exercise Physiology (JCEP).

We’re proud to share that EXPHYS and TAL Australia are a FINALIST in the 2026 ALUCA Life Insurance Excellence Awards – Partnership Impact Team. The submission recognised the delivery of a unified, evidence‑based recovery pathway for customers living with persistent pain. By integrating pain science with functional upgrading from day one, BETTER Pain and Function delivered improved functional capacity and return to work outcomes, strong customer satisfaction, and cost‑effective, sustainable results for the life insurance industry. We’re grateful to ALUCA for recognising this work and proud of the teams at EXPHYS and TAL, whose contribution and support were integral to its development and implementation. The program reflects a continued commitment to delivering evidence‑based solutions that achieve health for life and work.
