We are donating with Lifeblood to honour people living with cancer, demonstrating our DNA Value of CARE , and helping people stay engaged in life, work & what matters most. Blood and plasma donations play a vital role in saving lives, providing essential support for Australians undergoing cancer treatment, recovering from trauma, and managing serious health conditions. A few facts that remind us why every donation matters: ❤️ 1 in 3 Australians will need blood or blood products in their lifetime. 🩸 A blood donation is needed every 18 seconds. 💛 It can take up to 13 plasma donations to create a single vial of some plasma medicines. * Australian Red Cross Lifeblood (2026) .
