EXPHYS Winners at the 2026 ALUCA Life Insurance Excellence Awards.

EXPHYS are proud winners at the 2026 ALUCA Life Insurance Excellence Awards. Winning the Partnership Impact Team award, in collaboration with our partners at TAL.

Winning this award recognises the delivery of the
EXPHYS BETTER Pain and Function program, an integrated recovery pathway supporting people living with persistent pain to improve function, confidence and return to life and work. The program integrates pain science with functional upgrading into one seamless pathway, delivering measurable outcomes for customers and sustainable value for the life insurance industry.

The program was recognised for its measurable outcomes, supported by strong data and evaluation, and delivered through close collaboration with our partners at TAL. It has demonstrated meaningful improvements in functional capacity and work participation, delivered at scale.

This recognition reflects the expertise of EXPHYS’ health professionals and leadership team, together with the commitment of TAL’s recovery and support team. This combined capability, innovation and focus on demonstratable outcomes through data, has been integral to the program’s success, which was critical to winning this award.

We thank our partners at
TAL for their commitment to innovation, early intervention and better customer outcomes, and ALUCA for recognising the importance of collaboration for the future of the life insurance industry.

EXPHYS is proud to deliver impactful and innovative health solutions that achieve health for life and work.

☕ Making Room for Connection. This Loneliness Awareness Week our head office team took time to step away from our desks, share a coffee, and check in with one another. Connection is a key part of the EXPHYS BETTER Mood Program, where we support clients to improve their mental health and wellbeing through meaningful social connection. Whether that's joining a community exercise group or facility, or exercising with a friend, family member, support person, or even a pet. Small moments of connection can make a big difference. 2026 National Pain Week This National Pain Week, we are recognising the role pain science education, exercise physiology and professional support can play in helping people living with chronic pain. Coordinated annually by Chronic Pain Australia, the week aims to raise awareness of the 3.6 million Australians living with chronic pain and reduce the stigma surrounding the condition. Pain science uses current scientific evidence to understand pain, why it can persist and what supports recovery. The EXPHYS BETTER Pain Program combines evidence-based pain science, functional upgrading and exercise physiology to support meaningful recovery for people living with chronic pain.
