EXPHYS Abstract Accepted for ESSA Activate Conference 2026


We are proud to announce that our EXPHYS research abstract has been accepted for presentation at the Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Activate Conference.

Our submission, Telehealth Exercise Physiology Restores Function and Work Capacity for a Regionally Based Nurse: A Cost Effective Insurance Solution, demonstrates that telehealth outcomes are comparable to face to face delivery, offering a practical, lower cost model that improves access for remote Australians and delivers sustainable, high value outcomes for personal injury and illness insurers.

Congratulations to authors Dr Vicky Phillips, Ms Charlotte Cummins, Mr Chris Sinclair and Ms Adriana Giles. We look forward to sharing these insights with the profession.

This research will also be published in the Journal of Clinical Exercise Physiology (JCEP).
