EXPHYS VIRTUAL REALITY PAIN SCIENCE IS HERE.

What a journey

2006. One of our curious, progressive leaders, Chris Sinclair, recognised modern pain science’s potential. Completing one of Neuro Orthopaedic Institute’s (noigroup) inaugural pain science trainings.

2006-2022. EXPHYS established as a leading provider of modern pain science. Embedding this into practice over 16 years and onwards. Making a demonstrated difference to thousands of clients, throughout Australia and internationally.

2022. EXPHYS Virtual Reality (VR) is here! This turbocharges EXPHYS’ established modern pain science program.  Two years in the making, from conceptualisation in 2020.

Available throughout QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS, WA.

☕ Making Room for Connection. This Loneliness Awareness Week our head office team took time to step away from our desks, share a coffee, and check in with one another. Connection is a key part of the EXPHYS BETTER Mood Program, where we support clients to improve their mental health and wellbeing through meaningful social connection. Whether that's joining a community exercise group or facility, or exercising with a friend, family member, support person, or even a pet. Small moments of connection can make a big difference. 2026 National Pain Week This National Pain Week, we are recognising the role pain science education, exercise physiology and professional support can play in helping people living with chronic pain. Coordinated annually by Chronic Pain Australia, the week aims to raise awareness of the 3.6 million Australians living with chronic pain and reduce the stigma surrounding the condition. Pain science uses current scientific evidence to understand pain, why it can persist and what supports recovery. The EXPHYS BETTER Pain Program combines evidence-based pain science, functional upgrading and exercise physiology to support meaningful recovery for people living with chronic pain.
